What is all this white stuff??

What is going on with the weather here in St. George? It never snows, well never this much anyway.

Yesterday when the kids got home from school there was a little snow in the back yard and they wanted to play in it. I told them as long as they had coats and shoes and socks on they could go out in it. about 5 minutes later this is what I find in the back yard...

Yes everyone that's Sierra outside in her WINTER clothes.... Bare feet and all she didnt care.

She was having to much fun making snow angels on the trampoline!!

Once it started snowing yesterday it didn't want to stop it snowed until about 2:00 in the morning which made my drive home from work at 3:00 in the morning very fun. My max speed on the freeway was 35 if I went faster than that my car would start to pull to the right of the road and I didn't want to spend any time waiting on the side of the road for someone to come pull me out.

Now that the sun has kinda come up we're off to walmart to get gloves to build us some snow men. I'll post pics of that later.

I forgot to mention since we got a whole 2-3 inches of snow they closed all Washington County schools so yeah I get a whole day to have fun with the kids!!

Thanksgiving Family,Food,Fun,and PUPPIES??

For thanksgiving we went to Kanab, Jared got off too late on wednesday, so we ended up driving over thanksgiving day. We get to Hurricane and I realize i forgot the baked beans in the fridge, which is really nothing new, everytime we go anywhere i end up leaving something behind. My mom ended up making more so we didnt have to turn around and get them. We get to Kanab and our dog Bella is running around and not really acting like herself, so we figured she'd be having her puppies any time, my mom didnt want her having them on her couch so she got locked up in the bathroom while we were gone eating Thanksgiving dinner. My moms boss let us have our dinner in the resturant he has behind Denny's Wigwam in Kanab, it was a good thing too because none of us have a house big enough to hold our entire family. Just imagine 14 adults, and 19 kids, i dont think theres too many houses big enough for that. They have a bunch of old movie set type stuff there so we got some cute pics while the kids were playing on all of it.

After dinner we hung out with the family at my moms and around 8:00 we decided to come back home so Jared could hit the sales. Yes Jared's the shopper not me, I hate it and theres no way I'm getting up that early to go stand in lines and get shoved around all day. My parents also came down for the sales, they stayed at our house and since Jared's brother Brads been staying at the house they ended up having to sleep on the recliners. I wish our house was bigger so people could stay there comfortably whenever they want.

Jared and my parents left early for the sales so it was just me and the kids at the house, I was still laying in bed and realized all I could hear was a licking noise. I looked to Jareds side of the bed and there was Bella having her puppies on our very expensive pillow. Well about 3 hours later we had a liter of 7 puppies in the house. We had to move her twice because she kept running out of room when she had another puppy, we moved her from the side of the bed to a basket, from the basket we moved her to the bathtub, and from there they went into the kennel because Bella didn't feel the need to feed the poor things. While in the kennel we had to tie her down to the side of it and put the puppies in place so they could eat. Luckily we only had to do that 3 times and she finally got the hang of it and will do it on her own.

So as you can tell we had a very eventful weekend.. Here's some pics to prove it!!
