Hunt Success

This year both Jared and I drew out for our hunts!!! Jared drew out muzzle loader and I drew riffle. Jared didn't have a lot of time to hunt since it started in the middle of the week and the only weekend he had we were in Vegas. He didn't have much luck the first 2 nights they went out, he found a nice sized 3 point and was just about to fire at it when a man drove up with his son in a rhino and asked if they had had any luck, he wasn't very happy about it. He ended up getting a 2 by 3 the last morning of his hunt!! My hunt was just a couple weeks ago. Opening day I didn't have any luck even spotting a buck. I was hopping it would go as smoothly as my last hunt, you know, wake up late, get up to the hills at 9:00 am and have a nice buck by 9:30, not this year, I guess the bucks found some killer hiding places cause we couldn't find them. The second day after driving around for hours we convinced Jared that in order to get anything we might actually have to get off the 4-wheelers and do some hiking, about an hour later I had a 2 point down and the hunt was over!! Even better for me is that all I have to do is shoot the deer, tag it, and walk away. Jared gets stuck with everything else cause I'm allergic and cant get near them, unless I want my eyes to swell shut for a few hours (not pretty, trust me).
